I am making this blog to document my trip to Honduras for three weeks. I am here with the New College of Florida with a course called "Coral Reef Issues" taught by Professor Sandra Gilchrist. We are learning about the ecosystems of coral reefs, and will get to implement our own research projects in the duration  of the trip. The class consists of eleven students (Mei-Jing, Olivia, Codee, Grace, Sophia, Sonja, Austin, Adam, Thomas, Carlos and myself) and two professors.  We are staying at the Turtle Bay Eco Resort on the island of Cayos Cochinos, a part of the Bay Islands archipelago off the east coast of Honduras. I figure this is a good way to document my time here, plus other people are writing blogs and ya know, peer pressure.
