Day 4 (part 2): July 2
Before lunch, Professor brought out the cameras. I was sitting near her and I conveniently picked up the brand new GoPro in the collection of various underwater cameras. I charged it during lunch, and macgyvered a wrist strap as to not lose the contraption amidst the reef. I was really excited to get to take my own pictures. After lunch we suited up and got our assignment. We are to go out and take a picture of three different species of coral, sponge and echinoderm. That is a total of nine photos. I took 152. Oops.

Also on this outing was a new member to our crew, Chip the photographer. He was sent out here by New College to get some material for ads and things since this a cool program and people should know about it. He was taking pictures of us while we were taking pictures (aka reef-ception). I'm excited to see his pictures.
That was my favorite excursion yet.
